Year one of graduate school is finally OVER!

Yes, I made it through my first year of graduate school! I am not sure yet how I did it. I was on top of the world when I started until I went through a bought of the mommy blues; stopping breast feeding and knowing that I was never going to experience those amazing moments again really took a toll on my heart. The void, so painful! Of course going through a couple of my Mental Health classes brought up childhood issues that never got resolved or processed; so after some trips to a therapist and a ton of tears and walks on the beach- I MADE IT! I am so proud of the work I did this year, I wrote some amazing research papers and created spectacular PowerPoint presentations. I am looking forward to this next and FINAL year. I heard it is a hard one, though I think the kids and I are up for the challenge. We graduate May 20, 2016 and I am hoping I get my internship in Colorado and then the rest is of course a "new blog" to come! I hope that as this next year goes by, I do better at blogging about the kids and my adventures while Stewart is stuck being a Drill Instructor! Brooklyn starts kindergarten and Tristan will go on to first grade so we will be busy! I will try my hardest!
